Swatara Creek Kayak Rentals

We provide all the equipment, shuttle service, and instruction. Choose from a variety of trips we have.

Memorial Lake Rentals

Paddleboat, canoe, stand up paddleboard, & various kayaks available for rental starting at 1 hour.

Tour the oldest existing transportation tunnel in the United States. The tunnel operated from 1827 to 1855. We have the honor of being given special permission for access on the water. Join us for a calm paddle and a history lesson, as a local historian shares the history and knowledge of the canal and surrounding area.

Proceeds from this tour are donated to the Lebanon County Historical Society.

Group Events

Girl Scout, Boy Scout, School Athletic Team Building, Work Team Building. Large groups, over 12, can enjoy our property with a fire, grilling, and games. Contact us today to find out more.

This outfitter was awesome for my very first kayaking trip! As a plus-size woman, I had several questions before booking, and Mike was amazing. He answered every question I had and made me feel welcome from my very first phone call. On the drive to the launch site, we got a great lesson about the area’s history and ecology, followed by about a 10-minute lesson on the basics of operating a kayak. The kayak-specific docks at both the launch and take-out made getting in and out incredibly easy. Mike also met us at a few different spots along the creek that were difficult to navigate, which was much appreciated. As a first-time kayaker, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend them!

We booked a corporate kayaking event with Cocoa Kayaks for 15 people. Mike and his team provided every detail ahead of our trip and answered all of our questions. They were set up, ready for our group, and full of fun facts about the creek. They knew the route we were taking inside and out and exactly where we’d encounter low spots. They had a team of 4 people waiting there to help guide us though so no one had trouble or needed to get out of our kayaks. It was a smooth trip all around and everyone had a great time.

We had an excellent experience with Mike and Cocoa Kayaks on the Swatara! We met Mike at the pick up spot and were captivated with his historical background on the way to the drop-in. Mike was quite thorough with his prep before the launch. He is a gifted teacher. Our run was awesome. Mike appeared halfway through our trip to take some pics of my wife and I as we skillfully navigated a few ripples and sent those to us later. Ty! We would do it again!
